Service specifications – Standard 31+

Parcel dimensions

Maximum length per item: 160 cm. Maximum total dimensions: 180 cm.

Delivery area

Available for all locations in Romania, according to Cargus coverage area.

Parcel weight

Maximum 15 items per shipment, with a maximum weight of 50 kg per item.

Payment

For contractual shippers, transport costs may also be paid by the recipient.

Delivery time

Estimated delivery: next working day after pickup for over 90% of shipments, and 2–3 working days for the rest.

Additional services

Options that can be activated depending on your business needs.

A national door-to-door postal service where Cargus collects parcels (envelopes and packages) and delivers them to the recipient’s address by 10:00 AM on the next working day after pickup.

A national door-to-door postal service where Cargus collects parcels (envelopes and packages) and delivers them to the recipient’s address by 12:00 PM on the next working day after pickup.

A national door-to-door service consisting of Saturday delivery of parcels collected on Friday.

An additional service where a parcel is delivered to the recipient and another shipment (mandatory an envelope with documents) is collected from the recipient and returned to the sender.

An additional feature where a shipment is delivered to the recipient and another parcel is collected from them to be sent back to the sender.

A value-added service that insures parcels against loss, theft, total or partial damage, up to the value declared by the sender. Proof of posting or delivery can also be issued upon request.

A value-added service where the recipient pays the sender, via the Cargus network, the value of the goods in the shipment.

A value-added service providing the sender with written proof of delivery confirmed by the recipient.

An additional feature allowing the sender to change the recipient or delivery address before delivery, or stop delivery upon request within an agreed timeframe.

An additional feature allowing the recipient to visually inspect the parcel (not technically test it) for up to 5 minutes before acceptance.
