Cargus accelerates growth in 2026 and strengthens operational performance
Share Article
Cargus continues the positive momentum built over recent years and has delivered strong results in the first months of 2026. The company reported a 16.5% increase in revenue between January and April 2026 compared to the same period last year, while EBITDA, a key indicator of operational performance, rose by 54.4%.
Parcel delivery volumes increased by 22% during the first four months of the year, while Cargus’ out-of-home delivery network expanded to more than 2,100 locations nationwide, including owned and partner SHIP & GO points as well as lockers. The continuous expansion of delivery options improves service accessibility and responds to consumers’ growing preference for flexible and convenient delivery solutions.
“The results recorded in the first months of 2026 confirm Cargus’ positive trajectory and demonstrate that the investments and efficiency measures implemented over the past years continue to support the company’s performance. Revenue growth, improved operational profitability and the reduction of net losses reflect a resilient business with strong growth prospects. We remain committed to investing in technology, infrastructure and services that simplify the delivery experience and address our customers’ evolving needs,” said Belgin Bactali, CEO of Cargus.
The strong performance in 2026 follows a year in which the company further strengthened its market position and continued to improve its operational indicators. According to audited financial results, Cargus closed 2025 with revenue of RON 618 million, representing an increase of nearly 9% compared to 2024. Delivery volumes also grew by 7.5%, driven by the expansion of the international business segment and the continued growth of e-commerce.
At profitability level, the company recorded a marginal increase of approximately 1% in net loss during 2025, reaching RON 80.5 million. This was mainly the result of accounting adjustments related to the amortization of goodwill arising from historical transactions, as well as other non-cash items specific to the company’s shareholder structure. These elements do not reflect Cargus’ current operational performance and have no impact on cash flows or day-to-day business activity. EBITDA remains the key performance indicator, increasing by 20.7% compared to 2024.
The positive revenue trend and EBITDA growth confirm the strength of the company’s business model and the effectiveness of its operational strategy.
In 2026, Cargus continues to invest in operational efficiency, digital transformation and the expansion of its out-of-home delivery network, with the goal of providing customers with a more predictable, flexible and accessible delivery experience.
The company is focused on route optimization through artificial intelligence-assisted solutions designed to improve resource utilization, shorten delivery times and better manage fluctuations in shipment volumes. At the same time, Cargus is evaluating the relocation and expansion of strategic facilities in order to increase processing capacity and further improve network efficiency.
Customer experience remains another key priority in 2026. The company continues to invest in interaction quality monitoring tools, customer service optimization initiatives and programs designed to strengthen collaboration standards across its partner network.
Through these investments and strategic initiatives, Cargus aims to deliver an experience that keeps pace with the evolving expectations of both consumers and e-commerce merchants.
