Cargus expands its SHIP & GO network through a partnership with FROO Romania
Share Article
Cargus continues to invest in the development of its out-of-home network and announces a new partnership with FROO Romania, a modern convenience store chain that brings delivery closer to customers’ everyday lives.
Through this collaboration, the SHIP & GO network is expanding into easily accessible locations, seamlessly integrated into daily routines – on the way to work, home or while running errands.
Delivery closer to you, exactly when you need it
SHIP & GO is Cargus’ out-of-home delivery solution, designed to offer greater flexibility and control. Customers can pick up or send parcels from fixed nearby locations, without relying on a strict home delivery time slot.
The expansion into the FROO network is a natural step toward building a modern logistics infrastructure, aligned with evolving consumer habits. Delivery is no longer just a service – it becomes part of everyday life.
Why this partnership matters
By integrating FROO locations into the SHIP & GO network, Cargus contributes to:
- increasing the density of proximity delivery points
- enabling faster and easier access to delivery services
- offering an experience built around flexibility, control and speed
At the same time, the partnership supports the increasingly complex needs of online retailers, for whom delivery efficiency and predictability are essential.
FROO stores become part of everyday convenience
FROO Romania introduces a modern convenience store concept, designed for the fast-paced lifestyle of urban consumers. In addition to everyday essentials and a dedicated bistro area, these locations now also serve as parcel pick-up and drop-off points.
This transforms proximity stores into multifunctional hubs, closely aligned with the real needs of local communities.
How delivery works in FROO locations
The process is simple and fast:
- parcels can be picked up or sent directly from the store
- all operations take place at the checkout area
- active locations are clearly marked with Cargus signage
- locations can be easily found on the SHIP & GO map, on the website or in the Cargus mobile app
Phased expansion in 2026
SHIP & GO services are already available in 20 FROO locations in Bucharest and Ilfov, with further expansion planned in phases by the end of the year.
This initiative is part of Cargus’ strategy to build one of the most accessible and relevant out-of-home delivery networks in Romania.
A growing nationwide network
Currently, the SHIP & GO network includes over 2.100 locations nationwide, supporting a modern logistics model based on proximity, fast access and simple user experiences.
Through partnerships like the one with FROO, Cargus continues to transform delivery into a service tailored to today’s lifestyle – more flexible, more accessible and easier to integrate into everyday life.
