Description

Cash on delivery (COD)

Additional service for domestic shipments which consists in the payment by the consignee to the sender, through the Cargus postal network, value of the good that is the object of the registered postal item (envelopes and parcels), respectively taken over by the postal service provider

Characteristics:

  • Maximum reimbursement values:
  •     5,000 RON (for the reimbursement service with legal entities as recipients)
  •     10,000 RON (for the reimbursement service with individuals as recipients)
  • The minimum delivery term is one working day and a maximum of 3 (three) working days, calculated from the takeover
  • The deadline for returning the value of the refunds collected is a maximum of 5 (five) working days from delivery
  • The deadline for returning a package refused by the recipient is a maximum of 5 (five) working days from the date of refusal
  • The sender is obliged to indicate correctly and completely all his identification data on the transport note, filling in all the afferent fields of the transport document"
  • The modification of the reimbursement value can be requested by the sender in writing, at the latest until 17:00, on the day of taking over
  • The return of the value of the refunds is made in cash in the case of clients with / without commercial contract
  • The return of the value of the refunds is made through a collection account in the case of clients who have a concluded commercial contract
  • Delivery is made "door-to-door"
  • It is available for all localities in Romania, according to the Cargus Urgent Coverage Area
  • This service can be associated with the following services:

  •     Receipt confirmation service

Declared value

Additional service for domestic shipments which consists in the payment by the consignee to the sender, through the Cargus postal network, value of the good that is the object of the registered postal item (envelopes and parcels), respectively taken over by the postal service provider

Characteristics:

  • Its purpose is to extend the liability limit of the Cargus Supplier
  • Postage insurance fee: 1% of the declared value, mentioned on the transport document
  • In the case of clients who have concluded a commercial contract, payment can also be made by the recipient
  • Maximum declared value: 23,000 Ron / postal item
  • This service can be associated with the following services:
  •     Standard Economic Service
  •     Loco Standard Economic Service
  •     Pallet Standard Service
  •     Easy Collect Box Service

Receipt confirmation service

Additional service in domestic delivery serivces that consists in handing over to the sender the proof regarding the delivery of the registered postal item, confirmed in writing by the recipient

Characteristics:

  • This service can be requested by the sender, by filling in the field on the transport note
  • It is available for all localities in Romania, according to the Cargus Urgent Coverage Area
  • Delivery is made "door-to-door"
  • Delivery is conditioned by the appropriate completion and signing by the recipient of the acknowledgment of receipt
  • The minimum delivery term is one working day and a maximum of 3 (three) working days, calculated from the takeover
  • It involves 2 (two) free delivery attempts, performed on different days
  • The deadline for returning the acknowledgment of receipt is 3 (three) days and a maximum of 5 (five) days from delivery
  • The acknowledgment of receipt is sent physically must contain the following information: name / surname of the recipient, quality (recipient or proxy), signature of natural / legal persons, date
  • The copy of the receipt confirmation is kept in the archive of the Supplier maximum 9 (nine) months from the delivery of the postal item
  • This service can be associated with the following services:
  •     Standard Economic Service
  •     Declared value sending service
  •     Cash on delivery service
  •     Receipt confirmation service

Saturday delivery

Additional service consists in the delivery on Saturday of the postal items taken from the senders on Friday

Characteristics:

  • It is offered by selecting the Saturday delivery option, which can be found on the Transport Note
  • The collection / delivery is made in 2,613 localities, according to the Localities Annex - Pick-up / delivery area Saturday
  • In the case of clients who have concluded a commercial contract, payment can also be made by the consignee
  • If the delivery could not be made for reasons attributable to the supplier Urgent Cargus, the fee for this service is refunded. The fee for this service is not refundable if the delivery could not be made for reasons beyond the control of Cargus
  • It is also offered to postal items with pick-up from Cargus Ship&Go Points

Return of documents

It is a service that consists in handing over to the recipient a postal item (envelopes and parcels) and taking from it another envelope that will be delivered to the sender

Characteristics:

  • This service can only be requested by the sender
  • The minimum delivery term is one working day and a maximum of 2 (two) working days, calculated from the takeover
  • IIn case the recipient refuses to hand over the return postal item, the Supplier will not deliver the postal item

Exchange Shipment

It is a service that consists in delivering a package to the recipient and taking over from it another package that will be delivered to the sender

Characteristics:

  • This service can only be requested by the sender
  • The minimum delivery term is one working day and a maximum of 2 (two) working days, calculated from the takeover
  • In case the recipient refuses to hand over the return postal item, the Supplier will not deliver the postal item

Parcel opening on delivery:

It is a service that allows the recipient to open and visually (and not technically) verify, for a maximum of 5 (five) minutes - the contents of the postal item before handing it over. The service is accessed by ticking the appropriate field on the transport document

Characteristics:

  • It is offered to customers who have a commercial contract concluded with Urgent Cargus
  • The postal item subject to opening must be able to be closed and sealed (eg in cardboard boxes) after visual inspection
  • If, after the visual verification of the integrity of the packaging, the customer agrees with the receipt of the package, before the actual opening of the shipment, he will mention on the delivery note, clearly, the name and surname and will sign the receipt.
  • If after opening the package, the recipient finds that the ordered product does not correspond to the requested, is not in perfect condition and has signs of bumps, scratches or other aesthetic problems, the recipient will have the right to refuse receipt
  • In order to refuse to receive the shipment, the recipient must complete a Minutes of finding, in the presence of the courier, at the time of delivery. This document can no longer be completed after the courier leaves
  • After the recipient refuses to receive the shipment and after he signs the delivery note, the courier will seal the shipment and return it to the sender
  • If a shipment contains several products, if after opening the package (s) upon delivery, the recipient finds that one of the products is not in perfect condition and decides to refuse it, the procedure involves the return of all products delivered
  • This service can only be paid for by the sender
  • This service is not provided in the case of the receipt confirmation service

Manual WayBill

It is a service that consists in the option offered to the client to request an Urgent Cargus agent (courier) to fill in manually and to issue a transport note related to the service requested by the client

Characteristics:

  • It is offered to clients who do not benefit from electronic solutions for generating / printing transport notes.

Reweighing

It is a surcharge applies to services offered to customers who have a commercial contract

Characteristics:

  • It is applied in the case of shipments whose gravimetric weight declared by the customer is lower than the real one, established after re-weighing by Cargus with approved measuring and weighing means
  • It is applied in the situation in which - following the re-weighing - the weight of the shipment passes in another gravimetric weight band than the one declared by the client on the transport document

Non Standard parcels surcharge

It is a tax that applies to all package, whose maximum length of a side exceeds 175 cm and the sum of the dimensions (L + L + h) exceeds 240 cm

Additional kilometers

It is a tax that applies in case the taking over / delivery of a package is made outside the localities mentioned in the Urgent Cargus Coverage Area without additional km
